As you can see, I didn't buy much during the sales (although Zara has a great selection of clothes on sale but money is tight at the moment).

The thing with the sales is that most of the good pieces never make it, some pieces are still a bit too pricey and by the time the second round of sales comes along and everything is 50-70% off, all you are left with is the really crappy stuff that no one wants.  The other problem I have when it comes to sale time is that it is also the time of year when the new arrivals start filling the shops, meaning that I am sucked in and hypnotized by the gorgeous spring florals, bright colours and my personal longing for warmer days.

Anyone that knows me well enough knows that when I say that I'm going sales shopping, that I'll always come home with pieces from the new collection. I just can't help myself, I get tired of looking at the same winter pieces over and over again that when the new stuff hits the shops i'm all over it like a crazy lady. Don't be fooled by the 4 pieces above, I did buy a few bits and bobs that were not on sale (naturally) and they will be featured in a future post.

I will now cease my rambling as I am heading to Zara to return the dress I posted above ( I bought an M but prefer an S) before starting my night shift at Mango.
