Versace For H&M

Versace has been confirmed as the latest designer label to collaborate with H&M. I must admit that I squealed with joy when I read the news, startling my work colleagues who were working quite peacefully.

A few pieces have been revealed, my favourite (for now) is the studded jacket but I am anxious to see what else Ms Versace has up her high fashion sleeve. In the words of Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M, "Versace is one of the most important brands of recent times and their collection for H&M will be glamorous and flamboyant - everything Versace stands for". We can expect iconic designs from the archives and rather than being called a diffusion line, Versace's treasures for H&M will be sold as an "Iconic Collection". We will, however, have to wait until the 17th of November to get our hands on some old school Versace and January 19th for the pre-spring collection that will be available online. Roll on the madness I say!
